Nikola Mišković, Antonio Vasilijević, and Đula Nađ participated at 2018 IEEE 8th International Conference on Underwater System Technology: Theory and Applications (USYS’18) held from1st until 3rd December 2018 in the International Academic Exchange Center, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China. Nikola Mišković gave a plenary talk entitled“Cooperative and not-so Cooperative Marine Robotics” and Antonio Vasiljevićpresented the paper named “Autonomous Surface Vehicles as Positioning and Communications Satellites for the Marine Operational Environment - Step toward Internet of Underwater Things”.
At the Workshop on Marine Robots, which was held in the scope of the conference, Antonio Vasilijević gave an invited lecture named “Human Hearing and Marine Robotics” and Đula Nađ gave an invited lecture named “From Underwater Localization towards Diver-Robot Interaction”.
USYS’18 was an excellent occasion for LABUST team to disseminate our current R&D activities and to meet researchers, scientists, engineers, as well as industrial professionals from Asia.
